Test Technician – Electronics

Salary: £27,000 per annum
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–15:30

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Test Technician to join a growing electronics manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone with a background in electronics assembly, testing, or production who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for testing electronic products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards before leaving the production line.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out functional testing of electronic assemblies and finished products

* Identify faults and carry out basic fault-finding activities

* Record test results accurately and report any issues to the relevant team

* Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve defects

* Follow test procedures, work instructions, and quality standards

* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

About You

We’re looking for someone with a practical, hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail. You may have experience in:

* Electronic assembly or PCB work

* Product testing or inspection

* Production operative roles within manufacturing

* Working with electronic components or equipment
