The Job Role 

We are looking for an Automation Analyst to join our team as we continue to expand our automation and QA coverage across all business areas. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, develop automated solutions, and support quality assurance activities.

In this role you will help drive quality improvements across CRM, ERP, warehouse, and other business systems.

Our main office is our Theale site near Reading, with other sites based at Andover and Nottingham. Hybrid working arrangements are available by agreement.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts across multiple business systems using approved automation tools and frameworks.


• Work independently with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams to deliver Automation and QA activities.


• Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven automation to improve quality and productivity.


• Design, build and test AI-enabled automations, making sure outputs are accurate, reliable and properly validated before going live.


• Independently design, develop, test and maintain automated solutions, from gathering requirements through to deployment and support.


• Proactively manage and deliver project and BAU automation tasks within agreed timelines.


• Ensure automation solutions align with business requirements, quality standards, and best practices.

Is this the role for you?

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:

• Substantial experience in test automation (4+ years) with strong understanding of automation frameworks and best practices as well as hands-on experience building or supporting AI-enabled automation (for example using AI features within automation platforms or integrating AI services into workflows)


• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation tools.


• Working knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g. Python, JavaScript, C#, PowerShell)


• Experience with CRM, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).


• Experience with API testing (using postman) and SQL for data validation.


• Good understanding of end-to-end QA processes and QA lifecycle.


• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops, and GitHub.


• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
