Textile Operative

THH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established textile manufacturer in Dewsbury. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their as a Textile Operative.

This is a hands-on role inspecting the finished textile product in a modern, clean factory setting, please note you MUST be physically fit for this role as you will be on your feet for your full shift, the role involves physically walking the finished product to inspect it thoroughly.

The role will be 40 hours (37.5hrs paid) week on a 2 shift rota, rotating weekly

Week 1 – 6am-2pm – Monday to Friday

Week 2 – 2pm – 12am (midnight) Monday to Thursday

With a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspecting of finished product

* reporting defects to production

* ensuring the product is signed off

* filling in paperwork to pass to the office team

* basic repair of product if any small faults found

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience in a quality control environment (Ideally textiles)

* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting

* Reliable with good timekeeping
