services to Solicitors firms and companies nationwide. We are looking for

experienced

translators wanting to join our panel to work on a free-lance basis.

We provide assistance to solicitors and other clients in need of legal translations. Should you join our team, please note that you must hold interpreting/translation qualifications, as well as previous experience in translation. You will also be required to complete a short translation assessment.

We aim to respond back to you within 14 days, however due to a large volume of applications we receive daily we may not be able to respond to you in the given time and will not be able to provide individual feedback to your application at this early stage of the process. Translators will be required to:
- Read the text thoroughly and understanding the context of given material
- Have a good knowledge of content editing tool
- Convert written text in one language to another
- Ensure translated text conveys original meaning, format and tone
- Have a keen eye for detail and proofread translated text for accuracy
- Be able to work towards timeframes and deadlines

- Have an ongoing access to internet and e-mail

- Be able to provide an accurate, confidential and impartial service

- Be eligible for self-employment in the UK
- Provide a current valid DBS clearance

- Provide two references related to

previous experiences in translation
- Be qualified under Legal Aid Agency guidelines
Qualifications accepted:
Translation/Linguistics Related Degree
Translation/Linguistics Related Diploma
MA in Interpreting & Translation
Diploma in Police Interpreting
Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law, Health, Local Government)
Level 6 in Community Interpreting
Level 7 Diploma in Translation
