Threadrolling Technician - Aerospace Precision Components

Bristol (BS30)

Full-time | Permanent

Salary: £16.32 per hour plus 25% shift premium

Shift Pattern (Double Days):

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-11:00

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 14:00-22:00, Friday 11:00-16:00

About the Role

You will be responsible for the operation of thread rolling machines and supporting equipment, ensuring high quality standards, operational efficiency, and execution of priorities. This role will also ensure that the working area is organised, and housekeeping standards are maintained to minimise the risk of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

You may work as an individual or as part of a team as required for the nature of the specific jobs which are in production. This role requires a keen eye for detail and commitment to producing conforming components and operating in accordance with company procedures and policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Set and Operate Threadrolling machines safely, efficiently, to produce conforming components.

* Operate manual machines safely, efficiently, to produce conforming components if required.

* Performing routine maintenance in accordance with company TPM procedures.

* Correctly using precision measurement equipment to ensure adherence to specifications.

* Compliance with company procedures and policies including Health and Safety protocols.

* Accurate completion of forms, both physical and digital, as required to capture production data.

* Effective communication and teamwork, with both colleagues and management, and demonstration of company values.

* Willingness to learn and to teach others in compliance with company Competence Management procedures.

* Assisting colleagues to ensure maximum production output.

* You may be required to work alternative shifts / hours

* You may be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specific projects from time to time and as directed by management.

Skills & Experience:

* Previous assembly, fitting or manufacturing experience preferred

* Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous

* High level of attention to detail

* Good manual dexterity

* Positive and proactive attitude

* Ability to work effectively within a team
