About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Business lessons across the curriculum (Years 7-11).


• Develop a deep understanding of business concepts, financial literacy, and key economic principles in students.


• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.


• Effectively prepare students for GCSE examinations.


• Contribute to the development of the Business curriculum, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum.


• Play a role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that upholds the school's Catholic values.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Business Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience (recent ECTs welcome).


• A demonstrable track record of raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning.


• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to stay up-to-date with current business trends and developments.


• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.


• A commitment to high standards and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects all faiths.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.


• A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school (desirable but not mandatory).
