The Opportunity:
Can you stop someone's scroll in its tracks? As our Thumbnail Editor you will be responsible for developing data-driven creative concepts, compositing and designing out those concepts at speed and to a super high quality. A strong understanding of photoshop and photo manipulation is essential to succeed in this role. You will work closely with the production and editing team to create world-class data-informed thumbnails for Youtube that delivers on the promise of our videos to drive the maximum clicks and view duration.

Key Responsibilities
Ability to concept new and original ideas based on experimentation and a data science approach
Generate realistic/eye catching thumbnails using photoshop and photo manipulation skill
Stay up to date with current trends/best practices within the thumbnail space
Coordinate with the production and editing team to make sure we are capturing all assets necessary for the creation of our thumbnails to deliver on video promise
Collaborating with other team members to generate the best designs possible

Requirements
Must Haves
Strong photoshop experience
Advanced in photo manipulation
Great understanding of visual design principles and elements
Understanding of data analysis and data informed decision making
Working knowledge of graphic/visual trends in thumbnail design
Strong attention to deadlines and schedules
Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
Passionate about YouTube
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while consistently exemplifying our culture and values
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of Monday-Friday
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice To Haves
A keen interest in AI & examples of how it has or will create optimal Editing outcomes
3D experience
Ability to create hand drawn concepts
Location
London - Shoreditch ~ we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.
