TIG Welder

We are working with a well-established manufacturer with decades of expertise in designing and producing high-performance systems for several diverse sectors. These include marine, offshore, defence, power generation industries - to name a few!

The Role
Due to ongoing expansion, my client are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to strengthen their production process. You'll be manufacturing, fitting, and TIG welding aluminium and stainless-steel components whilst working to engineering drawings and maintaining their exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute precision butt and fillet welding on marine-grade aluminium and stainless steel using TIG processes.
• Fabricate and assemble components to exact specifications from technical drawings.
• Conduct quality self-assessments of completed work.
• Operate jigs and fixtures for consistent, efficient production.
• Support new product development through welding and fabrication expertise.
• Drive continuous improvements in productivity, safety, and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively within the team whilst demonstrating independence when required.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Commitment to health and safety protocols.
• Willingness to pursue additional welding certifications and coding.
• Self-motivated with excellent teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility with working hours and enthusiasm for process enhancement.
• MIG welding experience in aluminium and stainless steel (desirable).
