TIG Welder

DCT Recruitment are currently seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join a critical project at Shotton Paper Mill. This is a temporary contract position expected to last between 12 and 18 months.

As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for performing complex TIG welding on stainless steel plates to the highest standard. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations are essential in ensuring the success and safety of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out precision TIG welding on stainless steel components

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications

Ensuring all welds meet quality standards and project requirements

Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with site safety procedures

Candidate Requirements:

Extensive experience in TIG welding, ideally within a similar industrial environment

Valid CCNSG Safety Passport (or equivalent recognised safety certification)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude

Working Hours & Pay:

Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:30 – £27 per hour (CIS)

Weekend shifts available at £30 per hour (CIS)
