Role: TIG Welder

Location: Northampton

About the role:

• Ensure that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies and standards are adhered to. i.e. clean and organised work area, waste disposal, specification compliance, Hazard spots etc.

• Liaise with testing team to organise a prioritised test schedule.

• Ensure the correct materials are picked from stores to complete each job.

• Complete assigned assembled hose schedule.

• Ensure tested hose assemblies are stored/ quarantined in accordance with company procedures.

• Liaise with goods-in/dispatch to be packed and shipped.

• Communicate with quality team if failures or faults have been identified and assist in subsequent investigations.

Hours of work:

07:00 - 15:00 - Mon to Fri

39 hours per week

About you:

• Must have previous experience in TIG welding
• Previous industry experience is nice but not essential (Metallic hose assembly).
• Must be able to use a computer. Basic IT skills.
• Literate and mathematically competent.
• Must be willing to learn and expand their understanding.
• Must be adaptable/ flexible.
• Must be driven and motivated.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
• Show willingness to learn and try new things in a rapidly evolving production environment.
• Seek opportunities to improve processes and performance (business and personal).
