We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join a specialist manufacturing business in Wellingborough, working on the production of high-precision Coriolis flow meters.
The successful candidate will initially work days while completing training and welding coding before moving onto the backshift.
Monday-Thursday: 15:30-00:30 Friday: 11:30-17:30The 20% shift premium will apply once you move onto the backshift.
Key Responsibilities
TIG weld stainless steel to a high standard. Work from drawings, specifications and work instructions. Carry out pressure testing, helium leak testing and bead blasting. Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area tidy. Support inspections, continuous improvement and other production activities. Follow all health and safety procedures.Requirements
Minimum 5 years' TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience welding stainless steel to a high standard. Experience with welder coding to EN287-1, ASME IX and/or PED. Able to read engineering drawings. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.Desirable: Experience with 316, Duplex or Super Duplex, MIG welding, automated lathes or turntables, and a recognised engineering qualification.
