TIG Welder Fabricator

Job role: Welder Fabricator

Location: Wellingborough

Shifts: 40 hours, Mon-Thurs 07:00 to 16:15 Fri 07:00 to 12:00 , with ½ hour unpaid lunch break and 2x 10- minute paid breaks. Friday with 1x 10-minute paid break.

Salary: up to £18.50 DOE + Overtime available at time & half.

Working across a couple of facilities they utilise top of the range equipment to ensure all manufacturing tasks are completed to the highest standard.

The TIG welder fabricator position:

We are currently looking for a TIG welder with a manufacturing business in Wellingborough. The position will require you to provide high quality welding in efficient time across many processes. You will initially be required to perform basic welding processes and be trained to reach specific coding standards within this business

The Successful Candidate:

• Have the ability to read drawings / specifications.
• Tig welding of thin to thick gauge Stainless and Aluminium material
• Fabricate to drawings.
• Safe use of hand tools.
• Completion of job cards
• Safe handling of components, jigs and fixtures.
• Working on own initiative

Required Skills:

• Ability to work from detail.
• Experience of sheet metal welding
• Housekeeping and 6S
• Suitable independence and good communication skills
