Location: Leicester
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established and growing engineering business based in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator welder looking for a stable, long-term role with regular overtime available and the chance to work on a variety of bespoke fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

*

Carrying out high-quality MIG and TIG welding

*

Fabricating components and assemblies to specification

*

Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and some aluminium

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately

*

Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials for fabrication

*

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

*

Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

*

Conducting quality checks on completed work

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

*

Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator

*

Strong fabrication skills and the ability to work independently

*

Experience welding mild steel and stainless steel

*

Exposure to aluminium welding would be advantageous

*

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

*

A proactive approach and strong work ethic
