We are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with MIG/TIG experience who can work from technical drawings and produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.

The Role

Carry out MIG/TIG welding to a high standard in line with technical specifications.
Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings of varying complexity.
Complete self-inspections to ensure work meets required quality standards before final inspection.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and quality requirements.
Work independently when required while contributing effectively to the wider team.Requirements

Minimum 2 years' welding experience.
Practical MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Relevant welding qualifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to health and safety.Desirable Experience

Coded welding experience.
Welding qualifications to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and/or 9606-2.
NVQ in Welding and Fabrication.
MIG/MAG welding experience.
Knowledge of 5S and lean working practices.Interested?
