Timber Workshop Assistant: Our client is an ever-expanding hardwood timber merchant specialising in the manufacture of Hardwood Flooring and associated products.

They are looking to recruit a keen and energetic Timber Workshop Assistant to join their workshop team.

Details:

• Based - Cross Hills, Keighley
• Full-time / Permanent
• Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-4pm
• Annual leave - 22 days plus bank holidays
• Some Saturday morning work available at 1.5 hourly rate
• Starting wage £12.21 per hour, potentially negotiable based on experience

The Role:

The role of a Timber Workshop Assistant is varied as there are various machines and factory areas you will work across. This includes:

• Preparation and machining of timber products
• Oiling of timber products
• Forklift driving (License ideal but training would be given if required)
• Assisting walk-in customers
• Packing and wrapping ready for despatch

About You:

As a Timber Workshop Assistant, you will be someone who can work well with others. You will be fit, active and have a good work ethic.

The right candidate will be flexible and happy to work in other departments when the need arises.
