Key Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering engaging and effective lessons


• Support the Head of Maths in managing the Mathematics department


• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring the Maths syllabus remains challenging and inspiring


• Mentor and support other teachers in the Maths department, sharing best practices


• Monitor student progress in Maths, using data to identify areas for improvement


• Take on leadership responsibilities within the Mathematics department and contribute to whole-school initiatives

Requirements

• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)


• Proven experience as a Teacher of Maths, ideally with some leadership experience


• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5


• A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues


• The ability to take on leadership responsibilities within the Maths department


• The legal right to work in the UK
