Tool room Technician

Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Toolroom Technician to join a busy manufacturing business based in the B64 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to join an established team, working within a busy toolroom environment and producing precision tooling for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Machining cutters ready for use on production machinery

* Assembling cutter blocks

* Producing bespoke cutters from plans and engineering drawings

* Using workshop machinery and tooling equipment

* Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required standard

* Carrying out quality checks on finished tooling

* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

* Supporting the wider production and toolroom teams as required

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a toolroom, engineering, machining or similar technical role is advantageous

* Experience working from engineering drawings and plans

* Good attention to detail and a thorough approach to work

* Strong practical and mechanical aptitude

* Willingness to learn and develop new skills

* Positive and reliable attitude

* Able to work effectively as part of a team
