The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Tooling Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding business, to be part of the engineering department at their manufacturing facility in Belper.
Scope of role
- Reactive repair duties to tooling and jigs to keep downtime to a minimum.
- PPM duties to optimise efficiency and uptime levels.
- Ensure all tooling is production line ready.
- Correction of tooling to ensure it operates within specification.
- Be part of improvement projects.
The Tooling Maintenance Engineer
- Apprentice trained or equivalent in either tooling or mechanical engineering.
- Working knowledge of press tools.
- Strong all round machining skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Flexible to support during peak manufacturing periods.
