Description

Key responsibilities:

• Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools and dies to meet production requirements.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate tool production.
• Operate a variety of workshop equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
• Conduct tool testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve tooling designs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the toolmaking process.
• Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and modifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Profile

A successful Toolmaker should have:

• Proven experience in toolmaking within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in operating workshop machinery and equipment.
