Are you a skilled Toolmaker who takes pride in precision, ownership and craftsmanship?
This is a long-term opportunity for a Toolmaker who enjoys hands-on manual machining and wants stability, autonomy and room to develop within a well-established manufacturing environment.
Working as a Toolmaker, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bespoke tooling and components, taking full responsibility for your work from drawing to finished part.

As a Toolmaker, your responsibilities will include:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components accurately
Producing bespoke jigs and fixtures to meet machining requirements
Operating and programming an XYZ ProtoTRAK SM milling machine
Operating manual milling machines and lathes
Inspecting your own work to ensure components meet ISO9001 Standard
Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to Health & Safety procedures
As a Toolmaker, your experience will include:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in manual machining, including milling and turning
Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-driven approach
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Confidence working to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop as a Toolmaker
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Friday at 2:00pm.
