Toolroom Technician

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market leading manufacturing business with their search for a Toolroom Technician.

Key Duties:

• Full responsibility for the tooling workshop (5s, housekeeping etc.)
• Keep all Production tooling in an acceptable state of repair.
• Operating manual lathe and milling machinery.
• Monitor/maintain key spares (tooling).
• Keep all the tooling database up to date.
• Work with production to help improve the productivity and efficiency of extrusion profiles.
• Assist with production running and tooling trials.
• Support all tooling changes, cleaning and maintenance whilst on shift.
• Carry out Schedule of TPMs.
• Develop new and replacement tooling.
• Assist and run production and tooling trials.
• Manufacture any bespoke tooling required.

The Package:

• £38,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
• 2 shift pattern working 6-2, 2-10 on rotation.
