Topographical Surveyor

Our client, a highly respected and long-established surveying consultancy, is seeking a Topographical Surveyor to join their expanding team based in Oxford. With a history spanning over 40 years and offices across the UK, they deliver expert surveying services across a wide range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, rail, utilities, and public sector.

Working with the latest surveying technology and software, the company provides accurate, high-detail topographical surveys tailored to suit clients' requirements. From greenfield developments to complex inner-city schemes, their projects are diverse and offer fantastic technical and professional challenges.

• Carrying out high-accuracy topographical surveys using total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanning
• Processing survey data and producing high-quality CAD drawings to company and client standards
• Working on a wide variety of projects, including highways, land development, infrastructure, and construction
• Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure work is delivered accurately and to deadlines
• Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment and adhering to best practices and health & safety standards
• Supporting junior surveyors and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams as required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in topographical surveying
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of surveying methods and equipment
• Proficient in the use of total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and data processing software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant packages
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to commute to the Oxford office and travel to site as required

• Salary: £27,000 - £48,000 DOE
