Topographical Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed underground topographical surveys using GPS and Total Station (TPS) equipment.
  


• Produce accurate and high-quality topographical survey reports based on data collected from field surveys.
  


• Collaborate with other surveyors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of survey projects.
  


• Utilize CAD and SSC controllers to process survey data (preferred but not essential).
  


• Support the training and development of junior surveyors, sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
  


• Work across various environments and on complex surveys to deliver accurate results within set timelines.
  


• Ensure all work is conducted in line with safety regulations and company standards.
  


• Occasional travel and the ability to work away from home when necessary.
  

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
  


• Right to work in the UK.
  


• CSCS qualification (beneficial but not essential).
  


• Willingness to work away from home when required.
  

Skills & Attributes

• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Topographical Surveyor, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Training Skills: Experience in mentoring and training junior staff members is highly desirable.
  


• Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently and ensure quality standards are met.
