Job Description - Trade Administrator

Our client is a respected international Trader, Importer and Distributor of Food and Ingredients. They are looking for a candidate to join their team as a Trade Administrator for their office in London. Supporting the Traders and Sales team, this is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, organised and confident individual who is looking to learn, grow and build a career within this organisation. A Graduate or someone who has some work experience within Administration will be an advantage. The Key Points for this position will be to build strong relationships with internal team members, along with external suppliers and service providers. Will be focusing on gaining knowledge of all areas of the business to further develop and provide outstanding communication and customer service. Prioritizing and juggling own work load to go above and beyond deadlines and assisting the team. Customer support tasks include:

  • Customer Sales Monthly Contract Balance overview Spreadsheets
  • Raising sale and purchase contracts on internal computer system / raising instructions for deliveries
  • Liaising with customers regarding required samples from our warehouses.
  • Some of the other day to day tasks may also include;
  • Checking stock reports from warehouses against internal records
  • Raising credit/debit notes
  • Sending samples for lab testing
  • Organising office sample room
  • Physical sample analysis
  • Taking minutes for team meetings
  • Gathering courier/delivery costs for samples when required
  • Assist in organising Trade Exhibitions
  • Support other departments within the office when needed
  • Order weekly staff lunch food shop
  • Order stationary when required
  • Organising shredding company collections
  • Other occasional ad hoc office tasks as required
