We're proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in St Neots. This thriving company supplies a wide range of products to the engineering and maintenance sectors and is known for its exceptional service and trusted advice. We're on the lookout for a Trade Counter Customer Advisor with engineering experience from any background - whether it's automotive, agriculture, plant machinery, manufacturing, or mechanical repair, your product knowledge will be highly valued.

This is a face-to-faceposition where you'll be supporting a wide variety of customers - from farmers and tradespeople to estate managers and landowners. You'll be the go-to person for expert product advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising customers in person on engineering tools and products
• Recommending the right solutions based on each customer's needs
• Building genuine rapport with a wide range of people
• Managing stock levels and placing orders
• Delivering outstanding service and technical support

What You'll Need:

• Engineering or mechanical experience in any sector (agriculture, cars, plant, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with people from all backgrounds
• Confidence in a customer-facing environment
• Good problem-solving ability and product knowledge
• Basic IT and inventory experience
• Full, clean UK driving license to do local deliveries
