Trade Customs Specialist

Ready to take the next step in your trade compliance career? We're hiring a Trade Compliance Specialist to join a global leader in sustainable industrial technology.

Based in Hoeselt (or Antwerp, with travel to Hoeselt), you'll support international operations by ensuring accurate product classification, managing compliance data across global systems - playing a key role in the smooth movement of goods worldwide.

This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in trade compliance, particularly around Belgian dual-use regulations and both EU and US export licensing.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Classify hardware and software using ECCNs and Harmonised Tariff codes
• Maintain compliance data in SAP GTS and support audits or internal checks
• Monitor changes in EU and U.S. export regulations and apply them to products
• Collaborate with distribution and customs teams to resolve queries

What You Bring:

• Solid experience in dual-use trade compliance and export licensing (EU and U.S.)
• Good understanding of EAR, EU TARIC, and related regulations
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and a confident communicator
• SAP GTS experience is a plus, but not essential
• Fluent Dutch
