Our partner: Our partner is an established independent publisher producing an extensive range of books for readers of all ages and interests. With a strong reputation for publishing high -quality, accessible publications, they combine creativity with a commercial focus, efficient publishing operations and innovative workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate UK and US trade publishing programmes, ensuring accurate metadata is maintained and communicated internally and externally.
- Set up, manage and monitor ONIX feeds, working closely with distributors and customers to improve data quality and transmission.
- Receive, process and analyse sales and stock data from distributors and wholesale partners to support informed business decisions.
- Manage print runs and reprints, including creating costings, raising print orders, approving files, monitoring schedules and communicating updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and enhance reporting and data analysis capabilities across the business

You'll be an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail, confident communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems. Essential
- Some previous experience in an administrative or publishing environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with an aptitude for handling data.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, process -driven approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience using Biblio.
- Knowledge of ONIX metadata standards.
- Experience working with publishing workflows, print schedules or trade sales operations.
- An interest in technology and improving business processes.

What’s on offer:
- Salary: £27 -32k
