Trading Settlements Analyst

We’re offering an exciting opportunity to become part of the Trading Settlements function. This role will see you working closely with the Head of Financial Operations and the Senior Trading Settlements Analyst to deliver best-in-class back-office support across our Trading and Origination activities.

The role covers a wide range of responsibilities, including validating electricity and gas market costs, managing settlements and invoicing processes, reconciling trading positions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll play a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our operations.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Experience of settling non-energy commodities;


• Experience of trading back office;


• Experience working with imbalance settlements processes either with a commodities / energy company or BSCCo;


• Knowledge of trading and/or energy supply.

What does hybrid working mean to us?

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
