Woodworking Machinist / Machinery Operator

Location: Morley, Leeds
Pay: From £13-£15ph
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00

Our client is a well-established bespoke woodworking manufacturer based in Morley, Leeds. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Woodworking Machinist / Machinery Operator to join their team.

The Role

You will operate a range of traditional woodworking machinery to produce high-quality bespoke joinery and woodworking products.

Duties include:

* Setting up and operating traditional woodworking machinery

* Using equipment such as spindle moulders, panel saws, planers and thicknessers

* Working from technical drawings and cutting lists

* Checking quality and dimensions of finished products

* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

About You

* Level 2 qualification in Wood Machining required

* Previous woodworking/machining experience is desirable but not essential

* Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply

* Good attention to detail and willingness to learn

* Reliable and able to work as part of a team

* Experience with traditional woodworking machinery would be an advantage
