Key Responsibilities

• Direct traffic management and road safety initiatives.
  
  


• Oversee the administration of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).
  
  


• Evaluate collision and traffic data to formulate work programs.
  
  


• Provide expert technical advice to senior officers and elected officials.
  
  


• Oversee project budgets, assess risks, and monitor contractor performance.
  
  


• Prepare and deliver technical reports.
  
  


• Act as a deputy for the Traffic Group Manager when necessary.
  
  


• Represent the Local Authority in regional and technical meetings.
  
  

Essential

• Extensive experience in Traffic Engineering or Highway Engineering.
