Our client are a market leading provider of integrated road and rail freight logistics delivering a range of services spanning container transport and storage, domestic distribution, warehousing, freight management, and truck sales.

You now have an incredible opportunity to join as a Traffic Operator at their depot in Bristol working Monday to Friday with one in every four Saturdays worked.

(Traffic Operator) -Duties & Responsibilities

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
• Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
• Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
• Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
• Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et

(Traffic Operator) - Position Requirements

• Previous experience as a Traffic Operator - Essential
• Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Can work on own initiative
• Quick and efficient problem solving skills
• Organised at all times
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the business

(Traffic Operator) - Position Remuneration

• Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm/ 9am - 6pm)
• Working 1 in every 4 Saturdays
• Starting Salary £34,000 - £38,000
• Annual salary review (discretionary).
