Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Traffic Process Administration Assistant to work within the Lincolnshire Police Force

Location: Nettleham, Lincoln
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £12.83 per hour
End Date: May 2027
Working Pattern: Full Time 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Our client, a leading organisation within the public services sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traffic Process Administration Assistant to join their Criminal Justice Services Traffic Process Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting various internal and external partners, including the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and His Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring seamless communication with police officers, the Crown Prosecution Services (CPS), and other stakeholders.
Administer officer-issued tickets, process notices of intended prosecution for speeding offences, and manage files related to road traffic collisions.
Maintain and quality control data on police systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
Liaise with members of the public via telephone and email, offering guidance and support as needed.
Create and maintain electronic case files, ensuring all documentation meets national and local quality standards.
Respond to inquiries from partner agencies, solicitors, and insurance companies, providing necessary advice and information.
Attend court as required and support other units within the Criminal Justice Services when necessary.What Our Client Is Looking For:

Qualifications/Training:
- Understanding of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and GDPR/DPA legislation (Desirable).
- Knowledge of police computer systems and administrative procedures (Essential).
Experience:
- Proven experience in data input and retrieval within an administrative role (Essential).
- Familiarity with a computerised department (Desirable).
Skills:
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (Essential).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Essential).
- Demonstrated ability to ensure a high degree of accuracy in information handling (Essential).
Motivation/Commitment:
- Ability to work independently and use initiative effectively (Essential).
