Trainee Accountant

This role offers a structured development path, beginning with 9 months in Financial Reporting, followed by 9 months in FP&A. From there, you will continue to grow and gain exposure across both commercial and technical finance, all within a highly supportive and ambitious team. Initial Responsibilities

• Posting purchase invoices into Sage and obtaining relevant authorisation
• Processing partner expense claims
• Resolving purchase ledger queries
• Setting up weekly payment runs
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Monthly credit card statement reconciliations
• Ad hoc finance queries

Progression into Commercial & FP&A Responsibilities

• Perform weekly sales, marketing, and business planning forecasts
• Provide weekly P&L forecasts to monitor financial performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights
• Conduct strategic analysis and build financial models for long-term planning
• Analyse financial data to identify areas for process improvement and value creation
• Financial assessment of new partner opportunities
• Prepare timely and accurate partner commission statements
• Ensure commercial data accuracy across internal systems
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
