If you are a someone with a little accountancy experience then this role for a Trainee Accountant will be perfect for you.

Some of your duties will include:

- Supporting team of Accountants with managing accountancy requirements on behalf of SME clients

- Providing support with bookkeeping, annual account preparation, annual audits and tax work

- Assisting with the preparation of computerised sales, purchase and nominal ledger records

- Preparing cash book records, completing client bank reconciliations and investigating any anomalies that occur

- Producing client monthly profit and loss reports and completing balance sheet reconciliations

- Calculating, preparing and completing quarterly VAT returns and HMRC online submission
