Job Description - Trainee Accounts Assistant

Trainee Accounts Assistant | £25,000 - £26,000 + AAT Study Support | Bolton + Hybrid | Great training and mentorship | Fantastic team and working culture

Axon Moore are pleased to be working in partnership with a fantastic business in Bolton as they look to recruit a junior accounts assistant to join their fast growing team offering great mentorship and progression.

This progressive new opportunity is well suited enthusiastic candidates, who will gain valuable experience in an exciting and varied role. As a trainee accounts assistant you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress quickly within the role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Processing invoices for purchase and sales ledger
Processing payments
Processing receipts and matching to invoices
Processing refunds
Bank reconciliations
Month end reconciliations
Other ad hoc administrative duties as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

No previous experience is required
Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach
Excellent attention to detail
Well organised and self-motivated
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable and flexible nature
Good Maths and IT skills
