Trainee Asbestos Removal Operative

Smiths Asbestos team are looking for Trainee Asbestos Operatives to join our existing skilled and experienced teams.

No experience is required as we are offering a full training package to the right candidates.

You will need to have a Full UK driving license, a willingness to learn new skills and ideally some experience of working the building industry.

Training will be provided on the job and attending industry standard training courses.

You will ideally be based in the Gloucester or Hereford areas. Work will be at various sites around the Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Bristol and Worcestershire areas. You will travel to sites in a company van with other members of your team. 

Salary £28K-£31K dependent on ability and previous experience.

Working days are Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities for the job role:

• To carry out asbestos removal works on a variety of projects including commercial and residential buildings.

• To ensure all works carried out are in accordance with Plans of Work.

• To work in accordance with regulatory requirements and Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd policies and procedures.

• Work effectively as part of a team whilst remaining calm and professional under pressure.
