This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business and develop a career within technical design and passive fire protection, with full training provided for the right candidate. Your Role as a Trainee AutoCAD Technician As a Trainee AutoCAD Technician , your duties will include: Producing accurate 2D and, where required, 3D drawings using AutoCAD. Preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations and construction details. Interpreting engineering, architectural and technical specifications. Amending and updating drawings in line with design changes and project requirements. Maintaining drawing registers, revisions and document control. Ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards, specifications and company procedures. Liaising with engineers, designers, project managers, clients and contractors as required. Checking drawings for accuracy, consistency and completeness before issue. Assisting with the preparation of project documentation and technical information. Managing multiple drawings and projects while meeting agreed deadlines. Maintaining organised electronic drawing files and records. Supporting the Technical Team in the development and delivery of technical passive fire protection details using AutoCAD software. Learning and developing within a fast-paced working environment. Requirements No previous AutoCAD experience required as training will be provided. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Competent IT skills. Good attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently and manage workloads effectively. Reliable, punctual and hard-working. Full UK Driving Licence essential. Pay & Shifts £15.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience. 37.5 paid hours per week . Temporary to Permanent opportunity . Monday to Friday working pattern. 09:00-17:00 What's in it for you?
