Trainee AV Installation Engineer, Field Based

Our client, a leading UK expert for over 40 years in the design, implementation and support of visual collaboration solutions, is now looking to recruit and train a self-motivated, hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Trainee AV Installation Engineer. Following your training program - you will have the rare opportunity to progress and develop into a field-based AV Service Engineer/Lead Engineer with a fully expensed Company Vehicle, Laptop, Mobile Phone and Bonus.

Day to day duties will include assisting the Engineers with the service, Installation/cabling of a full range of systems, fault find, repair and modify for various Blue-Chip companies, NHS and Government bodies.

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has recently completed BTEC/A Level’s/T Level/Apprenticeship. Work experience within Electronic/Electrical Installation, AV/CCTV/Telecoms/Signalling, IT Cabling within buildings, Engineering, Joinery, Plumbing, House Building, Double Glazing/Window/Door Fitters, Kitchen/Bathroom Fitter / Tiler, Plastering, Facilities Management/Property Maintenance, Construction, Civil Engineering or general maintenance within properties would be an advantage.

You must have a full driving licence, a passion which you can demonstrate to work within the AV Communications industry and be happy to work outside of your local area.
