Trainee Business and Accounts Administrator

• Annual Salary: £25,000 plus Christmas bonus
• Location: Guildford (outskirts)
• Job Type: Full-time (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday - fully office based)

• Handle sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control for a small business.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage payroll.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Monitor email inboxes and respond to enquiries.
• Answer phone calls and assist with general administrative duties.
• Type up quotations and delivery notes.
• Manage vehicle administration duties, such as booking MOTs and services.
• Arrange accommodation for drivers.

• Some office based experience or currently working towards AAT qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of Excel.
• Experience with accounts software (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage) is handy but not essential.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
