The Role:

As a Trainee Buyer, you will engage in a fast-paced role, focusing on learning how to source new products and review existing ones to ensure they remain competitive. Your role will be crucial in driving like-for-like sales growth and providing a commercially viable product range at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Market Research: Learn to analyse consumer buying patterns and predict future trends.
• Stock Management: Assist in managing plans for stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
• Supplier Engagement: Support the establishment and maintenance of relationships with suppliers.
• Competitive Analysis: Participate in regular store visits to assess our pricing and product offerings.
• Promotions and Merchandising: Help plan and execute promotional activities and collaborate with the merchandising team.
