My client is looking for a dynamic, ambitious and driven individual that is looking to take the first step in their Finance career. If you are a graduate, or have gained over 6 months experience in a transactional finance role this the perfect opportunity for you! The successful candidate will gain invaluable exposure to commercially focused Financial Planning and Analysis duties, and progress quickly in their career and further accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA). My client is well known for a friendly and sociable working environment, that focuses on providing top quality training for their employees.

Description

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Analyse customer and portfolio trends (e.g., margins, volumes, attrition).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, relevant data.
• Contribute to monthly management reporting and performance commentary.
• Assist with pricing and costing analysis, including variances vs. forecast.
• Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis on key business drivers (e.g., sales, volume, pricing).
• Provide insights to Commercial, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Evaluate new commercial opportunities and pricing strategies.

Profile

A successful Trainee Commercial Finance Analyst should have:

• Have recently graduated from a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant degree. OR have gained 6+months in an entry level/transactional finance assistant/analyst position.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Confident and outgoing to communicate with stakeholders
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Be ambitious, driven and motivated to learn and develop
• An interest in completing a professional accounting qualification. (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)

Job Offer

• A competitive salary ranging from £25,500 to £28,000 per annum.
• Study Support in AAT, ACCA or CIMA, CFA
• 9:00am - 5:00pm working hours, 37.5hr working week
