Job Title: Trainee Electrical Engineer
Location: St Helens
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Temp to Perm

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Electrical Engineer to join our clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the electrical engineering sector. You’ll gain hands-on experience, receive structured training, and work alongside qualified engineers on a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Support senior engineers with project planning and delivery.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Carry out routine inspections and fault-finding under supervision.
Adhere to health & safety standards at all times.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, hardworking, and has a genuine interest in electrical engineering.

Essential requirements:
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
Strong practical skills and a willingness to learn.
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Willing to work UK and Europe

Desirable (but not essential):
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, Engineering, or related subject.
Some previous work experience in the Electrical industry and hands-on or technical role.
