Trainee Engineer

Our client is looking for a keen and enthusiastic trainee to join their engineering team. They are expanding quickly and are looking for someone with some IT knowledge who can use basic hand tools and is eager to learn and progress within our business.

• Full time, permanent, Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm)
• £30,000 OTE (including overtime)

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join this engineering team as a Trainee Engineer. You’ll work alongside a Senior Engineer and learn everything you need to know to become a skilled professional. The role will primarily be based in Woolston but will involve national travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Engineer on installation and service projects
• Learn the trade proactively and progress towards independent site work
• Apply IT knowledge to support engineering tasks
• Ensure safety in the workplace for yourself and those around you
• Accurately complete all required documentation
• Travel nationwide with overnight stays as required
