Do you have Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge? If so, our Trainee Escalator Engineer role is a great way for you to learn from a market-leading family-run business.

This job covers routes across key stations in Brackley Service Branch Area, allowing you to work with a diverse range of escalators, lifts and moving walkways.

Working hours:  4 on 4 off , 7:00-19:00 (12hour shifts with 45min lunch break)

Trainee Escalator Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assist Escalator Engineers on maintenance call-out visits and minor and major repairs.
• Complete required training and qualifications in line with stated timescales in company policies
• Carry out responsibilities in a safe and proper manner both for self and for the well-being of others.
• Ensure a high standard of quality, delivery of service, and customer care is maintained.
• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure you have essential van stock at all times by liaising with stores person.

Trainee Escalator Engineer Requirements:

• Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
• A good understanding of best-in-class customer service.
• Excellent communication - verbal and written.
• A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
