Trainee Hoist Fitter

Our client is a plant hire company that are looking to recruit an addition to their hoist technician team based out of their yard in Redhill, Surrey.

The role will be to erect/remove, service and repair their plant and hoist equipment used on construction sites.

Driving licence is essential, CSCS card is preferred, but not essential.

Full training will be provided but a fundamental understanding and ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment is expected..

Requirements for the role will entail;
Working on building sites
Obtaining a CSCS card
Working at heights
Erecting scaffolding systems
Working with electrical equipment and understanding wiring diagrams
Service and install hoists
Valid UK driving license (6 pts maximum)
Working hours 6.00 am 3.30pm (start and finish at Redhill depot)

Very competitive salary commensurate with experience and abilities (minimum starting salary will be £30,000) with senior engineers earning in excess of £45K+
22 days holiday + Bank Holiday
Private Medical after qualifying period
