Trainee Management Accountant

The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with previous experience within accounting including VAT returns, management of ledgers and ideally knowledge of payroll. You will be responsible for completing month end processes and support others within the team for this. Additionally, you will receive fantastic training bringing up any weaker skills, as well as assisting with your continued study (if required). You will have great communication skills and organisational skills to provide the best service to all clients and stakeholders.

Skills required:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with exposure to month end, ledger management and reconciliations.
• Confident communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across the business and resolve queries with suppliers professionally.
• A positive and driven attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role and the wider company.
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems such as XERO or SAGE and Microsoft Excel to come in and hit the ground running.
• Beneficially experience within payroll and VAT returns but not essential.
