Trainee Manipulator Technician

Join Ashtead Technology as a Trainee Manipulator Workshop Technician!

Based in our Kintore workshop, you’ll receive hands-on training and mentoring as you learn to deliver exceptional technical service and support. From handling precision-engineered spares to mastering industry-leading service standards, you’ll work closely with your line manager to follow best-practice policies and procedures. You’ll gain specialist expertise in the evaluation and repair of Schilling Robotics manipulators, preparing you for a rewarding future in this cutting-edge field!

Day to day you’ll be involved in:

• Handling service/repair of all manipulators and associated system


• Receiving, inspection and testing of all systems


• Compiling job reports allowing line manager to prepare client quotation


• Ensure the workshop is kept clean, tidy and safe

What experience you’ll bring:

Having a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or experience working in a Mechanical based environment will ensure success in this role.

But willingness to learn with a can-do attitude is key!
