Must have’s

* CeMAP 1 qualification as a minimum

* Strong interest in developing a career in mortgage and protection advice

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Customer-focused with a consultative approach

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Ability to manage a busy workload and learn quickly

* Positive attitude with a willingness to develop new skills

Nice to have’s

* Experience within customer service, banking, financial services or estate agency

* Understanding of the home-buying process

* Sales or target-driven experience

* Knowledge of mortgage and protection products

So, what will you be doing?

* Supporting experienced Mortgage Advisors while developing your knowledge and skills

* Conducting client fact-finds and affordability assessments under guidance

* Assisting with mortgage and protection recommendations

* Managing mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion

* Building relationships with estate agency colleagues to maximise referral opportunities

* Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other parties throughout the buying process

* Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

* Ensuring all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures

* Keeping up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria and industry developments

* Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the home-buying journey
