Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Nottingham, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career within the legal profession.
Working alongside experienced solicitors and legal professionals, the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training while gaining valuable practical experience across a range of legal matters. This role is ideal for a recent law graduate or an individual with a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in law.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Paralegal, you will be responsible for:
Providing administrative and legal support to solicitors and fee earners. Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court forms under supervision. Opening, maintaining and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures. Conducting legal research and collating relevant information. Liaising professionally with clients, third parties and external organisations. Managing diaries, appointments and meetings for the legal team. Organising and maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based case files. Handling incoming calls, emails and post. Supporting the team to ensure matters progress efficiently. Ensuring all work is completed in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
A strong interest in pursuing a legal career. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. A professional and client-focused approach. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Desirable
Previous office, administration or customer service experience. Experience working within a legal or professional services environment.
