Job Description:

Recruit UK are working on a unique and exciting opportunity for a Trainee Paraplanner in Birmingham to join an Independent Financial Advice practice.

My client are a boutique IFA based in the heart of Birmingham. They office whole of market independent holistic advice, and offer a really supportive working environment.

The Trainee Paraplanner role will predominantly involve supporting 1 Senior Adviser, and you will be working alongside other members of the back office team (both administrators and paraplanners also).

They utilise Intelligent Office and dynamic planner predominantly, as well as exchange and utilise a variety of platforms (including Aberdeen Standard Life, Old style Standard Life, Embark, AJ Bell and more).

They are happy to negotiate on salary dependent on experience and skill set, offer hybrid working once you're fully trained (and have passed the initial onboarding period), offer free parking in central Birmingham, free lunches offered in the office, pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and much more.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in Financial Planning Administration
• Basic level paraplanning experience
• Previous experience of working within a financial planning company
• Strong technical ability
